Description: POSITION SUMMARY: The Product Manager position at Milliman Care Guidelines is instrumental in driving the profitability of existing products as well as developing new products for the company based on market needs. The Product Manager will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on industry experience and input from company stakeholders, customers and prospective customers. The Product Manager must possess a unique blend of relevant business experience; a big-picture vision, and the drive and follow-through to make that vision a reality. The Product Manager must be able to develop and maintain revenue projections for their product(s) in conjunction with Sales and Finance. The Product Manager must enjoy spending time in the market to understand market problems and finding innovative solutions that meet the needs of current and future customers.

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Successful accomplishments and primary accountabilities of this position will depend upon establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of people, including Milliman Care Guidelines staff, clients, vendors, Milliman Corporate staff, and visitors.

The Senior Product Manager works with internal stakeholders, specifically the Executive Team, Clinical Content team, Sales, Account Management, Strategic Alliances Team, Development team, Program Management Office, and Customer Team.

The Senior Product Manager is also responsible for working with his/her Senior Product Manager peers and peers within Marketing as well as the in Director of Market Insights to ensure the product plan(s) is executed in a cohesive way to achieve the company’s strategic imperatives.

Experience and Knowledge
•Solid Product Management experience
•Experience in the healthcare provider market required
•Excellent oral and written skills
•Strong analytic skills
•Ability to research market needs and develop Business Requirements
•Able to work independently and be self-directed
•Ability to work collaboratively within a team
•Ability to manage multiple projects
•Clinician preferred, familiarity with clinical systems required
•30-40% travel will be expected when required to meet job requirements
•6+ years in related field required
•Bachelors degree in related field; RN or similar clinical licensure preferred.
